Everything installers and buyers ask about the Zeatech ZP-64Wh mini UPS.

What is a mini UPS and how is it different from a regular UPS?

A mini UPS is a compact DC battery backup that powers routers, ATAs, cameras, and other network gear directly at 9V, 12V, 24V, or via PoE. Unlike a traditional AC UPS, it has no inverter, so it avoids 20-30% double-conversion losses and delivers longer runtime from a much smaller battery.

How long will the ZP-64Wh run my equipment?

Divide 64Wh by your combined load in watts and multiply by roughly 0.9 for efficiency. A 7W router + ATA load runs about 8 hours; a 15W load about 4 hours; the maximum 42W load about 1.4 hours.

Which devices can it power?

Anything running on 9V, 12V, or 24V DC (within port ratings), USB 5V devices, and PoE devices via the selectable 24V/48V injector — cellular routers, ATAs, VoIP gateways, cameras, access points, switches, and alarm panels, up to 42W total.

Is the ZP-64Wh compatible with InHand routers?

Yes. The ZP-64Wh is approved by mainstream router makers including InHand Networks. Its DO1 output signals AC loss to the router, and the RS232 model reports AC status, battery level, and voltage.

Why LiFePO4 instead of lithium-ion?

LiFePO4 is safer under heat, far less prone to thermal runaway, and rated for 2,000+ charge cycles versus 300-500 for typical lithium-ion — ideal for unattended installs in closets, risers, and enclosures.

What models are available?

ZP-64Wh-POE-IO with Digital I/O power-cycling control, and ZP-64Wh-POE-232D with RS232 control plus AC/battery/voltage status reporting. Accessories include the ZP-SR232D Ethernet-to-Serial converter and 24-inch or 72-inch DC-DC cables.

What are the shipping, return, and warranty terms?

Free shipping in the USA, 30-day returns, and a 1-year limited warranty. Support responds within 24 hours, five days a week, at maggie@zeatech.com.

Is it certified?

The ZP-64Wh is FCC compliant. UL and CE testing are in progress.
